Make you're own paper mache and save the high price of shipping.
Get you're plaster and paper pulp at you're local building supply the paper
I use is the same as for insulation.You can use drywall mix like sheetrock
joint compound you can get it in set times from 5min. to 90min.
For a smooth mache use 1 1/2 lbs. plaster to 2 cups fiber and
1 cup dextrin, the fiber I use is from Van Dykes called Saf-Fiber set
time aprox.20 min. You can use high fiber and it will work for fish .
For base mache I make the flowing
2 parts joint compound to 2 parts paper pulp and 1 part dextrin
You can add other things like cob grit,vermiculite
for texture or for a rock mache.
Hide Paste
Use 5 lbs..Dextrin
5 lbs..Whiting
2 lbs.. Hi fiber
3 oz. Lysol
1/2 gal water hot
Mix water and Lysol with dextrin add whiting and hi fiber mix till it is smooth.
